Her Excellency
Dr. Ericka Ward is a community servant whose professional
experience includes over 30 years as a Registered Nurse
specializing in Behavioral Health, instructor and training
coordinator, service in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps honorably
discharged as a 1st Lieutenant, and 5 years as an Adjunct
Clinical Instructor for Hampton University where she also
received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has served
as a member of the Critical incident Stress Management Team,
a Certified CPR & Mental Health First Aid Instructor,
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion/Cultural & Linguistic
Competence Facilitator and served on the Virginia Department
of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Equity
Review Advisory Committee and Partnerships for Equity
Advisory Committees. Ericka is a licensed Evangelist who has
served since the early 1990's in ministry work to include
choir, home & foreign missions, women's fellowship and
prison ministry. She is the U.S. President of an
International Non-governmental Agency of Diplomatic
Chaplains which encourages involvement of the faith
community in the global efforts of the United Nations and
advocacy for world peace and human & legal rights. She is
also the founding life member of the U.S. branch of the
Worldwide Encouragement Society. Dr. Ward was honored in May
of 2000 with a Doctorate of Divinity from Norfolk Seminary &
College. Her joys are mentoring & helping others, teaching,
singing and spending time with her husband and their two
lovely daughters. Dr. Ward is creator and Editor in Chief of
Unveiled Purpose Magazine, founder and CEO of Divine Concept
Group Inc. a nonprofit which exists to assist others through
mentorship, resources, encouragement and opportunities to
develop in their divine purpose. Divine Concept Groups
mission is to "Bring Visions to Life!" DCG is a U.S. 501c3
faith-based organization that assists individuals and
organizations with fulfillment of their purpose regardless
of faith, Race, gender or cultural background. DCG partners
with individuals and organizations to help make their
mission a success. A large part of DCG's mission is the
personal growth and development of women who desire to help
others while using their abilities, time and talent for
community based activities, outreach programs and other
events to help others grow and develop. They invest energy
and funding/fundraising to support "Vision Projects" -
Vision projects are how they help others with their life's
dream or vision by assisting in the support, development,
structuring and initiation of their vision.
